Hello and welcome - I’m Trudy
A Funeral and Family Ceremony Celebrant covering Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol and Gloucestershire.
I’ve always been a storyteller, I wrote my first book at 8 - I love words and the stories they tell.
In my working life, I’ve also written a lot of words and understand how powerful they are.
I’m usually found with a camera, I love to take photos of ‘moments in time’, especially sunrises, sunsets and anything in nature. Mother Nature and all she does is very important to me and bring a real sense of calm.
My garden is also a passion, I admit it’s planted to be a photography studio - so I can combine my passions.
And I love music, every song is about a melody and lyrics working together to tell a story. I’m an 80s girl, still love that, it’s songs that evoke memories and emotions that are always on my playlist.

I always asked myself, if I was doing something that really mattered.
I had a yearning to take my love of being creative to do something that had real meaning.

I can tell your personal, unique story, wherever it sits in life, at the end or the beginning, or anywhere in between.
I’ll work with you to bring together your story to create that meaningful ceremony that your family and friends will say was ‘perfect’.
In simple terms, I take all the details about a life, memories, hopes and dreams, and craft them into something very beautiful and personal. And then officiate your ceremony.

Sadly I’ve experienced a lot of loss in my life.
I’ve experienced grief in many different ways.
This has though given me a unique empathy and understanding of the importance of the right words and the right ceremony.
I’ve been there and I hope this can help you.

I work across Wiltshire (including Chippenham, Calne, and Swindon - and down to Trowbridge), Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire. I can also help with ceremonies on the Wiltshire/Gloucestershire border - including the area around Cirencester.
